It enjoys
significant water frontage on Duck Arm of Lake Victoria. This tranquil marine
setting provides opportunities for students to live together where a number of
activities such as sailing, mountain biking and canoeing are used as a means
for personal development and being involved in the local environment.
It is located on the Banksia Peninsula, the closest
towns being Bairnsdale.
Students stay in large canvas tents in an area
adjoining the lodge and bathrooms. The
camp has its’ own private jetty where we keep our beautiful 12m launch, the
Eucumbene 2. This sturdy vessel can
carry up to 50 people and is used on every camp to explore the Lakes. We also have a run around speedboat to use as
support for sailing, rafting, camping, hiking and canoeing adventures.
