The year 7 camp program for the week is carefully structured to teach students a variety of outdoor skills, including: bushwalking, navigation, sailing, canoeing, bush cooking, camping and mountain biking. Whilst undertaking these activities students will also be learning about the local environment and history. 
Throughout the week during all activities, duties and free time, students will be challenged in various ways, taking on leadership roles, being an active team member, solving problems, taking responsibilities and showing independence; all the while having a great time and sharing much fun and laughter with their form teacher, class and peers.
The program
is based out of Camp Ibis, students spend 2 nights here, 1 night camping out in
the National Park, and 1 night sleeping aboard a 36’ cruising yacht. To find out more about the yachts, click
