The Association of Co-Educational Schools (ACS) is made up of six schools: St Leonard's College, Loyola College, Overnewton Anglican Community College, St Michael's Grammar, Thomas Carr College and Westbourne Grammar.
Participation in ACS sport is compulsory for students from years 7 to 11 and optional (but encouraged) for year 12 students. ACS sport at St Leonard's College takes place during the school week and involves regular training sessions as well as matches. St Leonard's College does not participate in any Saturday sport competitions. This allows students to participate in local community sporting competitions and we have many students who represent the state in their chosen sports. It also allows families to have quality time together on weekends and frees families to go away for weekend trips.
Students from years 7 to 11 participate in a sport of their choice, including netball, soccer, hockey, tennis, table tennis, football, touch football, volleyball, basketball, cricket and softball. St Leonard's College competes in the ACS athletics, swimming and cross-country carnivals, which are held annually.
Matches are on Tuesdays and training on Thursdays for years 7 and 8. Matches are on Wednesdays for years 10, 11 and 12 (Senior) and matches for year 9 are on Thursdays. Matches begin at 2.30pm and finish by 4.00pm. Return time to school will vary depending on venue. Please check the schedules for venues.
