The Out of School Hours Care program aims to be a substitute for home at a time when parents are not available, with committed and responsible staff giving individual attention to each child in a safe and secure environment. Care is available on a permanent, casual or emergency basis, with priority of access to families requiring work-related or study-related care.
Who can use the OSHC program?
Care is available for children from the Early Learning Centre (ELC) to year 6.
Before School Care
Before school care is available for ELC - year 6 students and operates from the ELC.
After School Care
Two separate after school care programs operate for:
- ELC and year 1 (located in the ELC)
- Years 2 - 6 (located in McMillan House, upstairs in the years 2 - 4 classrooms on a monthly rotation basis)
Holiday Program
Care is also available for prep - year 6 students during school holidays and curriculum days (located in the McMillan Resource Centre library). On student free days (curriculum and assessment days) a full day program operates at the College.
Fees for Out of Hours Care Program
Before school care: (7.45am - 8.30am) $15.00
After school care: Early session (3.15pm - 4.30pm) $16.00 Late session (3.15pm - 6.00pm) $23.00
Should parents collect their child after 6.00pm, an additional charge of $1.00 per minute is applicable.
Student free days (7.45am to 6.00pm) $65.00
Holiday program full day (7.45am to 6.00pm) $65.00 (prep to year 6 only)
Please note that from January 1 2013 there will be a fee increase to $65 per child per day and there will no longer be a half day option.
