Edutest will contact all applicants who apply in the current round (round 1) via email on Tuesday 24 October 2017 with details about the written examination which will be held at St Leonard’s College on Saturday 28 October 2017 from 9.00am to 12.00pm.

A further application round for 2019 commencements will open in December 2017 with a written examination to take place at St Leonard’s College on Saturday 17 February 2018 (further information will be available when applications for this round open in December 2017).

Please note that Music and Drama Scholarship applications open in December 2017 (round 2) and are not available in the current application round.

Applications for Global Citizen and Indigenous Scholarships should be made directly to the College (not through the above-outlined application process through Edutest).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for more than one kind of scholarship?

You have the option to nominate for more than one scholarship category on your application form provided you meet the eligibility criteria for each.

When can I apply for Music and Drama Scholarships?

Applications will open in December 2017 for Music and Drama Scholarships commencing in 2019. Further information about the selection process and eligibility criteria will be available at this time.

If my application is unsuccessful in Round 1 (current application round), can I reapply in Round 2 (applications open in December 2017)?

All unsuccessful applications from Round 1 will automatically be reviewed during the Round 2 selection process.  Some families may choose to reapply in Round 2 in the hope of securing an improved result in the written examination. When will I find out if a scholarship is to be awarded?

Following the written examination administered by Edutest, some applicants will be shortlisted for interview with the Principal, Mr Stuart Davis. Offers for Academic, General Excellence and Leonardian Scholarships will be made at the conclusion of each of the application rounds (usually within 6 weeks of the examination date). Scholarship offers for Music and Drama will be made following the December 2017 application round only.
