St Leonard’s College offers students completing years 11 and 12 the choice of studying the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma). VCE St Leonard's offers a wide variety of subjects as part of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). Students are assisted through their studies by committed, highly qualified staff with considerable experience delivering the content of this course. St Leonard's College students have achieved an excellent record of VCE results across all subject areas. International Baccalaureate Diploma The IB Diploma is an exciting and academically challenging course, which is designed to encourage creative thinking. The international orientation of the course, its world-wide reputation and portability, have helped to make the IB a popular choice for both Australian and overseas students. Successful completion of the IB allows students entry to universities in Australia and around the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and the Sorbonne. St Leonard's College was the first Victorian school to introduce the IB Diploma. Our years of experience delivering this course ensure that students choosing this option receive the best tuition and support available. Other schools across the state regularly consult St Leonard's College staff regarding the implementation and delivery of this senior course. More information about IB programmes is available from the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s website at http://www.ibo.org For more information about the VCE and IB please download the year 11 and year 12 course guides. |
