At St Leonard’s College, we take pride in our dance teams’ outstanding achievements at both state and national levels. Our dancers are dedicated to mastering complex, high-intensity movement patterns, and their performances are meticulously scored in areas of artistry, execution, and difficulty.
Our dance program is an optional cocurricular sport rather than an ACS sport, demanding a strong commitment from students and their families throughout the year to ensure they attend all scheduled training sessions and competitions with their team. This commitment is rewarded not only with the thrill of competition but also with the development of positive attitudes, discipline, confidence and heightened self-esteem, along with a strong sense of camaraderie.
