We are delighted to announce our College Captains for 2025: Amelie Taylor and John Goodwin, and our Deputy College Captains – Sierra Woolhouse and Bardia Nikakhtar.
Senior School students nominate these individuals based on the qualities they’ve consistently demonstrated during their time at the College. These qualities include kindness, speaking positively about others, fostering meaningful relationships, showing a strong sense of social justice and a commitment to social action, positively influencing their peers, and being respectful, authentic, honest, and courageous. They are also recognised for their voluntary contributions, their ability to listen to others' perspectives, their clear and effective communication, and their desire to honour the responsibilities of the role with humility, valuing it for its purpose rather than its title.
Congratulations Amelie, John, Sierra and Bardia! The College community are looking forward to supporting you in your leadership roles in 2025. We are confident you will all do an exceptional job. Well done!

We are delighted to share our featured artwork; an engaging and creative Australian-inspired cereal packaging design by Year 12 student Zane. He shares, “Outback Oats was designed to address the growing issue of childhood obesity in Australia by offering a cereal that captures kids' attention while providing essential nutrition. The goal was to create a visually exciting product that could compete with sugary cereals without compromising health. Featuring Womby the Wombat as the mascot, the box design is bright and playful, incorporating Australian themes to appeal to children while promoting healthy eating with key benefits like being a good source of Vitamin D and fiber from whole oats. To further stand out, Outback Oats includes eco-friendly toys, like a wombat and platypus, made from recycled materials, ensuring the cereal remains both fun and environmentally conscious. By blending engaging visuals, healthy ingredients, and a sustainability message, Outback Oats offers parents a nutritious option that still captivates their children's imagination.” Well done, Zane.

The Drama Soirée was a night of celebration, emotion, and joy as students from The Hart Theatre Company and the Senior School Drama program came together to reflect on their achievements. This special event featured awards, speeches, a heartfelt farewell to the Year 12s, and plenty of dancing!
A standout moment was the performance by the Year 9 Musical Theatre West End to Broadway Elective class. Former St Leonard's College student Joshua Gordon also returned to share his journey from his time in The Hart Theatre Company to the professional theatre world, including his two-year role in Mary Poppins.
Congratulations to all who made the evening such a wonderful success!

We are delighted to share our featured artwork; a vivid and contemporary digital portrait by Year 8 student Pippa. She shares, “In my digital artwork based on camouflage as a theme, I wanted to capture a very colourful portrait through lines and shapes using bright and vibrant colours. I found the contrast it created interesting without being too chaotic.” Well done, Pippa.
