The College is seeking an experienced School Counsellor.

The role of the Middle Years Counsellor is to provide psychological advice and support to students, families and staff in years 5 to 9 and to make a professional contribution to the College counselling team.

This role is a permanent full-time position, starting Friday 18 January 2019, however, an earlier start would be preferable (from 8 October 2018).

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

Please note:

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
