Applications are invited from a dedicated, inspirational and qualified teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join St Leonard's College. Experience in teaching International students considered an advantage.

A determination as to whether this role is full time or part time is yet to be made.

This role will commence at the start of the 2017 school year, Friday 20 January, the new staff induction day and end on Friday 8 December 2017 with potential for ongoing permanent employment.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before this date.

  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year. All teachers must have a current VIT registration.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
