The College is seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher of Chinese.

The position will suit a teacher who has the ability to teach Chinese from years 5 to 12.

Experience in teaching IBDP Language A and B and/or VCE Chinese, both first and second language would be considered essential to the role.

This is a fixed term full-time position, commencing 20 January 2021, the new staff induction day, covering a staff member on parental leave. The actual end date has not been finalised but will be, as a minimum, until 25th June 2021.

The successful candidate must have Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration to commence the role.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.
