The College is seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher of Chinese.

The position will suit a teacher who has the ability to teach Chinese from years 5 to 12. Experience in teaching IBDP Language A and B and/or VCE Chinese, both first and second language would be considered essential to the role.

This is a permanent position, commencing 22 January 2020, the new staff induction day.

This role is currently part time, however, a full time role would be considered.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
