Re-advertised - A position for a dedicated and passionate person to lead debating and public speaking across the College.

The key role is to undertake training, organisational, administrative and promotional duties within the debating and public speaking program.

This is a tenured part time non-teaching position, with the expectation that attendance and involvement at key competition times is required, some of these occurring in the evenings and weekends.

Consideration would also be given to a teacher with interest and experience in debating and/or public speaking.

This role commences at a mutually agreed time.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
