Food Science Teacher – Part time

The College is seeking a food science teacher to join the College in semester two.

The role commences Tuesday 11 June 2024 and finishes Wednesday 11 December 2024. Possible ongoing employment could be considered once student preferences are submitted for 2025.

The classes included are:

  • Year 9 Food Science
  • Year 8 Food Science
  • 2 x Year 7 Food Science

The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) for this position is 0.48.

The College timetable is based on a 10-day fortnightly cycle, therefore any days or part days not required at the College due to the part time nature of the role, may vary over the two-week cycle.

This particular timetable has one full day not required on campus per week, but not the same day each week. Other part days not required are negotiated with the Daily Organiser.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
