Permanent part time role for an experienced and committed teacher of French.

This is a permanent part-time position, commencing at the start of the 2023 school year, Monday 23rd January, the new staff induction day.

The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) is 0.76 and includes, in 2023, the following 4 classes: Units 1 to 4 VCE French combined, Year 9 French advance and 2xYear 8 French classes.

The College timetable is based on a 10-day fortnightly cycle, therefore any days or part days not required at the College due to the part time nature of the role, may vary over the two-week cycle.

For 2023 this role does not have any full days not required on campus.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.   5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2020.
