The College is seeking a passionate educator of Environmental Sciences in this readvertised role.

The Head of Environmental Action and Global Awareness will be passionate and demonstrate active engagement with environmental issues.

In addition to the traditional responsibilities of teaching, this role will actively promote awareness about environmental issues and assist the College in determining awareness programs and how to best become environmentally responsive to the needs of our local, national and global communities environmentally. 

The start date for this role is negotiable, preferably 15 July 2019 at the start of term 3,  with the incumbent able to start curriculum planning in 2019 for the 2020 academic year.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
