Head of Comparative Religious Education

Reporting to the Head of Learning – Humanities, this role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Head, Heart and Soul (Religious Education) Curriculum across Years 5-9.

St Leonard’s College is a Christian School in the Uniting Church tradition that respects the commonality of all religions and life philosophies that are represented in our diverse student body.

Experience in teaching a second subject discipline will be well regarded.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Friday 18 January 2019 with new staff induction.

While the teaching component is full time, as with all positions of responsibility at the College, the Head of Comparative Religious Education is tenured for three years.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
