Head of Learning – Science

The Head of Learning – Science is a challenging and responsible role that ensures the teaching and learning of this discipline is consistent across all years within the College.

Excellent subject and pedagogical knowledge are essential across all areas of Science, as well as strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

This role commences Wednesday 20 January 2021, the new staff induction day.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
4.
