This role is for an experienced professional to lead the College's sport program.

The Head of Sport is responsible for planning, organising and evaluating the programs within the ACS sport program, including ACS inter-school competitions and carnivals.

This will include developing goals and strategies for achieving success, ‘sporting excellence’ and ‘best practice’.

This permanent full-time role would suit a person qualified in sports management with experience and interest in school sport and coaching.

The role would include six weeks’ annual leave to be taken within each year at suitable times in College deemed term breaks.

  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
