The College invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced educators.

For 2019 there are three roles; Head of Year 7, Head of Year 8/9 and Head of Year 11.

The Head of Year is a member of the Senior (years 10, 11, 12) or Middle (years 7, 8, 9) School pastoral team under the leadership of the Head of School. The team is made up of the Heads of Year, their respective deputies, the Counsellor and in Senior School the VCE Coordinator, the IB Diploma Coordinator and Head of Careers.

The Heads of Year are responsible for the general wellbeing of students in the year group. They are required to undertake the responsibility of academic rigour and pastoral care, including discipline.

Please note:

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
