Seeking a competent and dedicated Humanities Teacher.

From term two 2023, there are several humanities teachers accessing long service leave, in particular the middle years, Years 5 to 9. The College is seeking a person(s) to cover these roles.

The offer of full-time employment from Monday 24 April 2023 until Thursday 14 December 2023 would be considered for a suitable candidate.

The following is a general summary of the classes to be covered. Varying combinations of the classes to cover may occur too, along with the FTE that would be offered.

Term 2 (Monday 24 April 2023)

  • Part time, FTE 0.56, Year 7 Geography, Year 9 Geography, year 9 CUE domain leader. The College timetable is based on a two week 10-day rotation. Due the nature of the current timetable and the nature of the CUE program, the successful person will be required on a variety of days.

Term 3 (Monday 10 July 2023)

  • Full time, FTE 1.00, Years 7 to 10 Geography, year 9 CUE domain leader.

Term 4 (Monday 02 October 2023)

  • Full time, FTE 1.00, Years 7, 8, 10, 11 History.

Early career teachers would be considered.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.
