St Leonard's College is seeking a supportive Integration Aide to assist students with learning disabilities.

The position of Integration Aide is to assist students with learning disabilities.

The position is a casual role during term time. The position relates specifically to the needs of selected students and is available whilst those children are attending the College.

The Integration Aide reports to the Head of Learning Support in the first instance and then to the Head of Section in which they are working.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

Please note:

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
