Mathematics Teacher

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Friday 18 January 2019 with new staff induction.

The position will suit a teacher who has the ability to teach Mathematics from years 7 to 12. Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and experience in teaching VCE Mathematics or their equivalent would be considered an advantage.

Other skills and experiences would include; qualifications in Mathematics and Mathematical teaching; experience in curriculum implementation and leading teams; the innovative use of ICT in the Mathematics classroom.

2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
