Maths and Science Teacher

The position will suit a teacher who has a passion for teaching students in the Middle Years.

Other skills and experiences would include; qualifications in Mathematics and a Science discipline; an interest in curriculum implementation; the innovative use of ICT in the classroom.

This is a permanent full-time position, commencing at the start of the 2019 school year, Friday 18 January, the new staff induction day.

A part-time may also be considered.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
