Applications are invited at St Leonard’s College from committed and inspirational teachers of classroom music. The person we are seeking should be vibrant and enthusiastic with a love of teaching music both within the classroom and beyond.

This is a permanent, full time role.

This role would commence at the start of the 2017 school year, on Thursday 19 January, the new staff induction day.

Please note:

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training). One referee should be of a current or most recent employer.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. All teachers must have a current VIT registration.The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
