This role is for a committed and inspirational teacher of Mathematics.

This role, covering a staff member on long service leave for two terms, commences at the beginning of term 3, Monday 17 July and ends Tuesday 5 December 2017.

This contract part time position consists of teaching two classes, year 11 VCE Maths Methods and 9 Mathematics, equating to an FTE (full time equivalent) of 0.48. The secondary timetable works on a 10-day timetable and the current allocation in the timetable for this position allows for one day not required per week, Wednesday. On other days’ the time not required is negotiated according to the allocation of when the classes are scheduled.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. All teachers must have a current VIT registration. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
