Prep Classroom Assistant

The Prep Classroom Assistant provides support to students in both the classroom, specialist lessons and in the playground.

The position is a fixed term full-time term time position. That is, access to all staff non-attendance days (term breaks) with four weeks annual leave included as part of the term breaks.

This role commences at the start of the 2022 school year, Monday 24th January, the new staff induction day, ending Thursday 15 December 2022.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
4. 5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2020.
