The College is seeking an experienced and creative educator for this role.
This is a permanent part time position, Full Time Equivalent (FTE) 0.8, commencing at a mutually agreed date as soon as practical.
Applicants, short-listed for an interview should bring some examples of work they have done with students to their interview in a photographic form.
As St Leonard’s College is committed to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) this position will be of particular interest to teachers who have a genuine interest in innovation in primary education. Whilst knowledge of the IB PYP would be an advantage this is by no means a prerequisite as the successful candidate will receive extensive professional development in this area.

- Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
- An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
- The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
