Primary Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher

This is a permanent part-time position, approximately 0.7, teaching in the Junior School, Prep to Year 4.

This role commences Friday 18 January 2019 with new staff induction.

Due to the complexities of the timetable, it is anticipated that the teacher will be required each school day, either part or full days.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
