Psychology and Science Teacher

This fixed term full time position, covering a person on parental leave, commences at a date to be confirmed but close to Tuesday 9 June and ends Friday 11 December 2020.

The allotment includes two VCE Units 1 & 2 Psychology, Year 8 and Year 9 Science, along with one class per week of Year 7 extension Science.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
