St Leonard’s College is seeking a casual sessional clarinet instructor to join our professional and highly motivated instrumental staff.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach clarinet from beginner to advanced level as well as experience in directing clarinet ensembles. This position is currently for approximately two days per week, starting at a mutually agreeable date from 15 January 2018.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training). One referee should be of a current or most recent employer.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. All teachers must have a current VIT registration. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
