A role is available at the College for a contract part time sessional classical voice instructor.

A vacancy has arisen at St Leonard’s College for a contract part-time sessional Voice instructor to join our professional and highly motivated instrumental staff. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Classical Voice from beginner to advanced level. The ability to teach Music Theatre students would be an advantage. Piano accompanying skills would also be an asset for this role.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
