Applications are invited from committed and inspirational teachers of Spanish to join St Leonard's College. The position will suit a teacher who has the ability to teach Spanish from years 5 to 10. Experience in teaching International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Spanish would be considered an advantage.

This is a permanent part time role, the actually FTE (Full Time Equivalent) will be determined after student subject selection has been finalised. As the timetable works on a 10-day cycle class allocations vary across the 10-days. Therefore, in a part time capacity, time required each day will differ across this timetable period. This role would commence at the start of the 2017 school year, Thursday 19 January, the new staff induction day.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years. One referee should be of a current or most recent employer.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year. All teachers must have a current VIT registration.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
