Trade Cook

The successful person in this role will be passionate about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for children.

They will also be responsible for the provision of food for school events so a background in function management is important.

This is permanent part-time position, equating to 33.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday in College term time. There will be an expectation to work at evening events as part of these hours.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
4.
