VCE Business Management and Commerce Teacher

This current role includes teaching VCE units 1 and 2 Business Management, Year 10 Commerce and Year 10 Careers.

This contract part-time position (approximately 0.55 FTE), commences at the start of term 2, Monday 11 April and finishes on Tuesday 6 December 2016. This has the potential for ongoing employment and will be reviewed after the students’ subject selection process in September 2016.

Please note the following in relation to the part time allocation:

The secondary timetable works on a 10-day timetable which does not necessarily give days off consistent in each week. Also, the timetable will alter in semester two which may change days or times within a day required to teach. Time not required at the College for part time employees is negotiated according to the allocation of when the classes are scheduled.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
