Community Day Fair

 

The Community Day Fair is happening on Saturday 18 March!

Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm

 

Free Entry

Entry to the Community Day Fair is FREE.

 

Rides & Attractions – Wristbands and Ticket Books

  • Wristbands are $60.00 each and allow access to all rides
  • Books of 10 Tickets are $35.00

Pre purchased wristbands and ticket books may be collected from the College Main Reception on South Road until 4.00pm on Friday 17 March.  Pre purchased wristbands and ticket books not collected before the Fair may be collected from the Ticketing and Information Tent on the day of the Fair. You may also buy Wristbands and Tickets from the yellow Ticketing and Information Tent on the Main Oval tomorrow.

 

Rides

We have rides suitable for all ages! For the older children, there will be the:

  • Sky Flyer
  • Cliff Hanger
  • Dodgem Cars
  • Bad Boys
  • Cyclone

And for the younger children, there will be the:

  • Dragon Coaster
  • Chair O Plane
  • Tea Cups
  • Two Jumping Castles.

 

Food

There will be lots of food options available at the Fair including:

  • Sausage sizzle
  • Hamburgers
  • Egg and bacon rolls
  • Loaded baked potatoes (including a vegan option),
  • Dumplings,
  • Walking nachos (vegetarian),
  • Pizza by the slice, fairy floss,
  • Freshly popped popcorn,
  • Snow cones and Dippin Dots ice cream

Coffee and bubble tea will also be available.

 

Things to buy at the Fair

We will be holding a Silent Auction with a variety of fantastic hampers offering something for everyone. Online link coming soon!

There will be cakes, preserves, show bags, novelties, crystals, Secondhand Uniform Sale, Secondhand Book Sale and more!

 

Community Engagement

This year to truly engage the Bayside community in our Fair, we have invited several local organisations and clubs that St Leonard’s College has ongoing relationships with, and / or where many of our families are members, to take space or run activities at the Fair to promote their programs and memberships. These clubs include Hampton Rovers (Juniors), Sandringham Yacht Club, Hampton Lawn Bowls Club and North Brighton Rotary.

Parking

No parking available on campus. Parking in the surrounding streets will be limited. Please do not park across driveways or block roads.  Council officers will be patrolling the surrounding streets.
We suggest that you bring a backpack for your shopping and take advantage of the beautiful weather by walking or riding your bike (the bike racks will be open, BYO bike lock).

The Gates on South Road will be open.

 

Cash and Card

Unless otherwise stated all stalls will accept both cash and card. If paying with cash, correct change is appreciated.
Note the Chocolate Trailer Game and the Tours of the Harefield Tower will both require gold coins.

Proceeds from the Community Day Fair will support our local, national and international philanthropic initiatives, including offering scholarships and supporting charitable initiatives that help disadvantaged youth.
