Join the students of Appleyard College for Young Ladies as they venture to the majestic Hanging Rock for a picnic. What begins as a sunny afternoon outing takes a dark turn when three girls climb higher and higher, until they vanish without a trace. As the small community struggles to comprehend the baffling disappearance, secrets and rumours begin to emerge.
