Microsoft Teams Technology

St Leonard’s College utilises Microsoft Teams technology to ensure the safe and secure delivery of our online events.

For your convenience we have featured the simple instructions below, outlining how to use Microsoft Teams.

 How to use Microsoft Teams and the Live Chat Function

1. Click the link that is featured within the event agenda and select the “Watch on the web” button on the right. The ideal browsers for viewing Microsoft Teams are Chrome or Edge. Alternatively, you can launch the Microsoft Teams app if you have already downloaded it.

2. Select the ‘Join Anonymously’ option, outlined below in red.

3. Whilst you are waiting for the event to start you will see this screen.

4. Once the live event has commenced you can submit your questions via the Microsoft Teams chat function.

Your questions can be anonymous or you can simply write your first name in if you prefer.

Please note your computer camera and microphone will automatically be turned off for these sessions.

Please note the chat function will only be turned on for the Q&A session, not for the live Principal’s presentation.

To view all the questions that are being submitted by the audience, click on the ‘Featured’ tab (as underlined below). To view your own questions, you can click on the ‘My questions’ tab.
